Determining the Winner

  • A Rubber will be 4 Singles matches and 2 Doubles matches.
  • Each Match will be a Set of 6 standard games, with the winner determined as the player with the most game wins.  If the game score is 3 all, then a tie break will be played up to best of 6 points.
  • Coaches should keep a record of the Game score for each match.
  • The winner of the Rubber will be the team which has scored the most Match wins, provided that if the match score is 3 all OR 4 – 2 with less than 10 games differential THEN Reverse Doubles must be played.
  • If at the conclusion of the Reverse Doubles, the Match Score is 4 all, then the winner will be determined as the team which has won the most Games for the whole Rubber.  If the Game score is equal, then the Rubber will be declared a TIE.

These are only played where necessary according to the rules above.

In the match-up, Team A Doubles 1 plays Team B Doubles 2, and Team A Doubles 2 plays Team B Doubles 1.
